Vodka Sauce
Ingredients
1 28 oz can of La Valle's Italian Peeled Tomatoes
1 small onion (diced)
2 tsp La Valle's Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup vodka
2 gloves garlic (optional)
1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
Salt and Pepper
Parmesan Reggiano to serve
Directions

Start by sauteing onions in olive oil in a large sauce pan

Use hand puree to crush and blend tomatoes or crush with back of spoon for a chunkier tomato sauce
Add more salt and pepper to taste

Once onions are sauteed, add garlic and/or chili flakes (optional) and let cook for a minute before adding full can of peeled tomatoes

Add vodka and let simmer fro 20 minutes then stir in heavy cream and let simmer 5 minutes
Toss over pasta with some parmesean cheese and enjoy!

Add salt and pepper and let tomatoes simmer for 1 hour stirring occasionally

Keep in airtight container in fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for 3 months
